Little Ocean is from the blue series of paintings.  The same hues of blue was used with different techniques from straight pours to Dutch Pours.  It is interesting to see how layering the colours in different paintings achieve a totally different effect.

Little Ocean was painting with acrylics using the straight pour technique.  Layers of different coloured paint are added to a cup and then poured in a straight line onto the canvas.  Some additional paint is added around the coloured paint to help the paint flow.  The canvas then is tilted to achieve the desired effect.
